We believe that raising children doesn't have to cost the earth!

Sustainability and ensuring that all aspects of Little Wild & Green are as eco friendly as possible are our main agenda. This applies to the kind of products that we make and sell, the way we package and ship the products out to you, and the kind of businesses we support and collaborate with.

We love products that are lovingly made by hand under ethical conditions with natural, non-toxic materials. When we select products for our store, we ensure that they are of high quality so that they can last a long time and can be past on to future generations. If the product is not intended to last a lifetime (e.g. our Eco Craft Kits) we ensure that the materials are either reusable for other purposes or home compostable, which means as little as possible ends up in landfill.

In terms of our packaging, we source materials that are either made from recycled paper, are recyclable, or compostable or even better - reusable. We encourage you to get creative with the materials, for example the boxes and wrapping materials and to use them for your art & craft projects with your kids. 

Here are some of the products that we choose in order to make our business as eco friendly and environmentally sustainable as possible:

- Compostable mailers instead of plastic mailers

- Eco friendly marketing materials (e.g. Thank you cards, swing tags, stickers,...) using https://www.sustainableprintingco.com.au 

- Compostable packaging filler and 'sticky tape' instead of plastic varieties

- Soy-based ink stamps made from recycled materials 

- Reusable cardboard boxes for our packaging
