Natural Bath Bombs
This fun activity is inspired by one of our Instagram followers and content collaborator @maggiefinds . She uses natural ingredients, including some found in our Nature Craft Kit to make fizzy bath bombs for little ones to enjoy.
You'll need:
1 cup Baking Soda
1/2 cup Citric Acid
1/2 cup Epsom Salt
3/4 cup Cornflour
3 Tbsp Almond Oil
1 Tbsp With Hazel (alcohol free)
1 pinch Red Botanical Colour Powder (from our Nature Craft Kit)
5-10 drops Essential Oil
Dried flower petals and biodegradable glitter from our Nature Craft Kit
Silicone moulds (little shapes work best, as the bath bombs will dry quicker)
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Place the dried flower petals and biodegradable glitter in the moulds, so that they'll sit on top of the finished bath bombs.
Spoon the salt/flour mixture into the moulds and press down firmly. Allow to dry (best overnight), then carefully remove from the moulds.
Place in the bath and let the fizzy fun unfold.
Remember, that neither the ingredients, nor the bath bombs are suitable for consumption. Please supervise your children when making these bath bombs.
Thank you, @maggiefinds for sharing this fun recipe and the pictures!
